No one should have to choose between losing their dog or losing their home

One of the top reasons people contact Dogs Trust about giving up their dog is because they can’t find a home that allows pets.

A dog is part of the family, and no one should be forced into the impossible situation of having to choose between keeping their dog or keeping their home.

Sadly, far too many renters in Ireland are being forced to do just that because of ‘blanket bans’ on dogs in tenancy agreements. Will you sign our petition and help us encourage the government to change the law?

All dogs deserve a happy home but so many of Ireland’s dog owners are being prevented from renting if they have a pet.

We need a more inclusive rental market. And as a country of dog lovers, we must act to ensure that dog owners no longer face the impossible choice of losing their best friend or losing their home.
